What's in a name?
New Haven Free Public Library Foundation
An organization's image and name is a vital asset that can make a difference in its success. The Patrons Board of Directors has approved a change to the name of our organization to the New Haven Free Public Library Foundation.
This name tells very clearly who we are, reflects that Foundations, can raise meaningful money to support the library's mission. We are not leaving the past behind; we are transferring the recognition and the respect for our predecessor name to this new, and more powerful, organization.
